Production Manager (f/m/d)

As Production Manager Final Assembly (f/m/d), you will lead our Final Assembly operations in Darmstadt and play a key role in ensuring efficient, high-quality delivery of our products. This position combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach—you enjoy leading people, improving processes, and stepping onto the shopfloor to support the team when needed.

Your tasks

• Lead the daily operations of the Final Assembly team, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable production performance.
• Drive a smooth end-to-end flow from material availability through production to delivery to our Central Logistics Center.
• Take ownership of quality performance, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to solve issues and prevent risks.
• Manage team resources, production capacity and departmental budget to meet operational targets.
• Lead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives to increase productivity, improve quality and reduce costs.
• Contribute to local projects and global supply chain initiatives that strengthen operational excellence across the organization.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment, ideally within electronics manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of operational processes, including planning, materials management, production, logistics and quality.
• Hands-on leadership mindset with the ability to motivate teams, organize priorities and solve problems pragmatically on the shopfloor.
• Experience with operational quality processes, supplier quality or RMA management is a plus.
• Fluent German and professional English skills.
